MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) :

MDF can be found at your local home improvement center. I found some of the thicker pieces labled as shelving. The thicker pieces are much better to use on the large chest, abdomen and back pieces. You need to glue these together to get a piece thick enough to form your part. MDF if easy to chisel and sand away and works really well as a vacuum form mold.
